Christmas Fayre Menu from 27th Nov 2017 – 22nd Dec 2017
Chicken liver and brandy parfait served with baby gherkins and sour dough bread
Prawn and smoked salmon parcels served on a bed of dressed rocket leaf and fresh bread
Roasted parsnip, butternut squash and leek soup served with toasted ciabatta and Cornish butter (v)
Smoked cheese, spring onion and sundried tomato baked tartlet with balsamic glaze and mixed leaves (v)
West country turkey and home cooked ham with pork and apricot stuffing
Braised brisket of beef slow cooked in Cornish beer served with roasted parsnip and chestnut mushrooms coated in a red wine and rosemary jus
Roast hake served on a bed of braised savoy and ham hock with creamy mustard sauce and homemade pickled cucumber
Butternut squash and blue cheese wellington served with a creamy white wine and mushroom gravy (v)
All main courses served with traditional festive trimmings
Traditional Christmas pudding served with homemade brandy and orange sauce
Whiskey rice pudding served with a seasonal berry compote
Sherry trifle with cinnamon custard and Chantilly cream
Selection of cheeses, celery, apple, grapes and homemade chutney served with a selection of cheese biscuits *£3.00 supplement

Christmas opening hours
- Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December – normal pub opening hours apply
- Christmas Day, Monday 25th December – open for drinks from 12-2pm.
- Boxing Day, Tuesday 26th December onwards normal kitchen opening hours resume from 12-2 and 6-9.
- New Year’s Eve, Sunday 31st December – kitchen open 12-2 and 6-9. Bar will be open until very late.
- Monday 1st January – normal business resumes.
